AI meeting notes that respect every client NDA.
Dictation and meeting notes that run on the consultant's Mac. Client strategy, numbers and workshop discussion never reach a vendor's server.
Can we take AI notes in client meetings under NDA?
Many client NDAs and security terms forbid sharing client information with unapproved third parties. A cloud note-taker is one. Mythral isn't: the conversation stays on the consultant's Mac.
Why cloud note-takers are a problem
NDAs don't allow an extra processor.
Sending client discussions to a note-taking vendor can breach the confidentiality terms the firm signed.
Clients ask what your tools do with their data.
Client security questionnaires increasingly ask about AI tools. "It's uploaded to a vendor" is a hard answer.
Institutions are banning AI assistants.
Some organizations now ban AI meeting assistants in their meetings unless the vendor is approved.
What Mythral does about it
Client conversations stay on the Mac
Recognition, notes and dictation run on Apple silicon, encrypted on the consultant's Mac.
A consent check before recording
With MeetingConsentNotice, the consultant confirms everyone has been told before recording starts.
Retention per engagement policy
Delete audio after transcribing, keep transcripts 30 or 90 days, and export notes to Word or PDF.
Locked down with your MDM
Offline mode, blocked apps and every setting, locked on every Mac.
The controls your IT team sets
Each is a key in a configuration profile for com.mythral.app. Set it and it is locked on every Mac. See every setting.

Questions your risk committee will ask
Does Mythral ever see our conversations?
No. There is no Mythral server. Speech recognition, notes and dictation run on the Mac, and transcripts and kept audio are encrypted there with AES-GCM. We never receive your data, so there is nothing for us to store, lose or hand over.
What do we tell a client who asks about our AI tools?
That the note-taker runs on the consultant's Mac, sends nothing to any server, and is locked down by your IT. The security page has the details to share.
How do we handle consent to record?
Set MeetingConsentNotice and every recording starts with the consultant confirming everyone has been told.
Can IT stop it from connecting to the internet?
Yes. With OfflineMode set in your MDM profile, the app makes no connections of its own: no downloads, no update checks. The installer carries every model. Every connection the app can make is listed on the security page.
Does a bot join the call?
No. Mythral listens to the Mac's own audio, so it works with Zoom, Teams, Meet and phone calls without joining anything.
Does it work with Outlook calendars?
Mythral reads meetings from the macOS Calendar app. Add your Microsoft 365, Exchange or Google account in System Settings › Internet Accounts, and meetings arrive with their titles and attendees.
What happens to notes when someone leaves?
They are on that person's Mac, encrypted, and follow your usual device process. IT can remove the app and every account's data with the uninstall script.
